Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as it is necessary to provide our services, ensure their security, and comply with applicable laws. While RGG Squad does not collect personally identifiable information (PII) by default, we still follow strict retention principles aligned with data protection standards
a. Types of Data and Retention Periods ● Wallet addresses: Stored in association with on-chain actions (such as airdrop claims or game participation) and kept indefinitely on the blockchain; off-chain references are retained only for as long as needed to support gameplay, security, or user support. ● Nicknames / Usernames: Retained as long as the user account is active. Users may change or anonymize their nickname at any time. ● Interaction logs (e.g., Discord commands, game actions): Retained for a period of up to 12 months for moderation, security, and improvement purposes. ● Cookies and analytics metadata: Retained for a maximum of 14 months, unless user deletes them manually or disables tracking via browser settings.
b. Automatic Deletion We periodically review stored data and automatically remove records that are no longer necessary for the operation, protection, or improvement of the RGG ecosystem.
c. User-Initiated Removal Although we do not maintain accounts tied to legal identities, users may: ● Disconnect their wallet to stop any future association. ● Request deletion of off-chain data (e.g., nickname history or analytics data) by contacting us directly.
d. Blockchain Limitation Any data stored on public blockchains (e.g., wallet address activity) is immutable and cannot be deleted by RGG Squad or any third party.
